7 Rules Of Fat Loss

3 Hints For Simple Fat Loss

Hints For Simple Fat Loss

Losing fat shouldn't be as hard as many people try to make it. People who are desperate to lose fat are often prone to take more risks (something that I try to help you avoid). The truth is that with some basic principles you can make some serious progress toward fat loss without any major effort.

Often a client will come to me looking for some hints that will help them shed some weight quickly. I am always happy to tell them my 'secret' tips that are always surprisingly effective. In fact, many people have found these tips to make an easy ten pound difference as they get started on a new program.

You might thing that these suggestions are really hi-tech or mysterious, but in reality, they are basic principles that I've seen successful over and over again. Here they are.

1 Avoid 'white' food. This includes white breads, pastas, many cereal products, and even cracker-type snacks. Think about some other white things too like flour, potato products, rice, and even processed milk and cheese products. Some white foods that are OK for you to eat are cauliflowers, fish, and chicken.

2 Ditch the sodas and other drinks that have calories, sugar, or even artificial sweeteners. I don't want you to drink much coffee either. Creamer? No. It's white, isn't it? I want you to take in at least half the weight of your body in ounces of water. This means that if you weigh 250 pounds, you should be consuming 125 ounces of water every day. This will be essential for getting the fat loss process in gear.

3 I've already taken you off white products, now you need to do away with wheat products. I don't care if the package says 'whole wheat' on it or not: it has to go. Check the ingredients of everything you're eating and if it has wheat in it, don't eat it.

These three rules are pretty easy to follow, aren't they? Sure, you'll have to adjust your habits a little bit, but it really won't be very hard once you get started. If you consistently adhere to these hints, you will be surprised at the progress you make in just a couple weeks.

How to Do Yoga at Home

One of most delightful and soothing experiences you can do is to practice yoga at home. Unlike attending yoga classes, learning how to do yoga at home is a preferred choice of many.
Those who know how to do yoga at home can attest to the wonderful benefits it brings. Imagine that feeling of comfort and privacy of being able to manage your own regimen - it’s truly astounding!

Here are some of the benefits of doing yoga at home:

Best Exercise to Lose Weight

We have different reasons to get in shape. And with lots of different exercises around, it’s hard to figure out which is the best exercise to lose weight.

Of course, the general rule would be to choose the best exercise that will fit your need to ensure that you get the results that you desire. There are many options available, but the best exercise to lose weight is none other than yoga.

Yoga is a series of physical postures called asanas. It is a holistic science that believes that everything in our body is connected.

It doesn’t only focus on the physical aspect of the body; it also aims to achieve stillness of the mind. It links and synchronizes the power of both the mind and the body to create a sense of balance and stability.

Originally, yoga was created to prepare the body for meditation, which is probably one of the hardest things to do - especially in today’s very busy and demanding world. In meditation, you are expected to channel your senses within, without distraction.

Doing this will give you stamina and no longer make you feel that your body is separate from your mind. It makes you a ‘whole’ being, bound by a single energy from the mind, body and soul.

This balance among the aspects of yourself (mind, body, and soul) is what gives you the discipline to concentrate only on the things that are crucial and important.

This is what makes yoga the best exercise to lose weight.

In terms of overall benefits, yoga is a better choice than other types of physical activities.

Unlike other exercises that only focus on specific areas of yourself, yoga gives an all-natural and far-reaching approach to help you achieve your goal.

Aside from being a great activity that the young and old can enjoy, yoga also has other positive effects. When burning fat for instance, it doesn’t target just one area of your body, but rather all over so you can slim down quickly.

Not only that, yoga keeps the heart going and gets rid of the toxins, stress and negative feelings that can make you sick.

If you want to tone up, you might think that lifting weights is the best exercise to achieve that. Well, you’ll be surprised to know that yoga can also help you in this aspect.

By doing the various postures, you don’t only relax your body, but also tone your muscles and improve your endurance. Moreover, it can help you be a more positive and likeable person.

Through yoga, you will learn to treat your body well and keep a healthy mindset. It will alleviate your anxiety and help you get in the best shape of your life. Of course, it’s best avoid food high in sugar and salt because it contributes to weight gain and make you feel bloated and sick.

Yoga is truly the best exercise to lose weight. Many generations of practitioners swear by its extensive, life-prolonging effects. To start enjoying the difference, you can begin your yoga journey today.

Being a true yogi will be one the best decisions you’ll ever make!

The Hidden Dangers of Your Excess Abdominal Fat - It's More Serious Than a Vanity Issue!

This article is contributed by someone I greatly admire in the fitness industry: Mike Geary, Certified Nutrition Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer.

Did you know that the vast majority of people in this day and age have excess abdominal fat?

The first thing that most people think of is that their extra abdominal fat is simply ugly, is covering up their abs from being visible, and makes them self conscious about showing off their body.

However, what most people don't realize is that excess abdominal fat in particular, is not only ugly, but is also a dangerous risk factor to your health.

Scientific research has clearly demonstrated that although it is unhealthy in general to have excess body fat throughout your body, it is also particularly dangerous to have excess abdominal fat.

There are two types of fat that you have in your abdominal area. The first type that covers up your abs from being visible is called subcutaneous fat and lies directly beneath the skin and on top of the abdominal muscles.

The second type of fat that you have in your abdominal area is called visceral fat, and that lies deeper in the abdomen beneath your muscle and surrounding your organs. Visceral fat also plays a role in giving certain men that "beer belly" appearance where their abdomen protrudes excessively but at the same time, also feels sort of hard if you push on it.

Both subcutaneous fat and visceral fat in the abdominal area are serious health risk factors, but science has shown that having excessive visceral fat is even more dangerous than subcutaneous fat.

Both of them greatly increase the risk your risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, sleep apnea, various forms of cancer, and other degenerative diseases.

Part of the reason visceral fat is particularly dangerous is that it apparently releases more inflammatory molecules into your body on a consistent basis.

If you care about the quality of your life and your loved ones, reducing your abdominal fat should be one of your TOP priorities! There's just no way around it.

Besides, a side-effect of finally getting rid of all of that excessive ugly abdominal fat is that your stomach will flatten out, and if you lose enough stomach fat, you will be able to visibly see those sexy six pack abs that everyone wants.

So what gets rid of extra abdominal fat?

Is there actually a REAL solution beyond all of the gimmicks and hype that you see in ads and on commercials for "miracle" fat loss products?

The first thing you must understand is that there is absolutely NO quick fix solution. There are no pills or supplements of any sort that will help you lose your abdominal fat faster. Also, none of the gimmicky ab rockers, rollers, or ab belts will help get rid of abdominal fat either. You can't spot reduce your stomach fat by using any of these worthless contraptions. It simply doesn't work that way.

The ONLY solution to consistently lose your abdominal fat and keep it off for good is to combine a sound nutritious diet full of unprocessed natural foods with a properly designed strategic exercise program that stimulates the necessary hormonal and metabolic response within your body. Both your food intake as well as your training program are important if you are to get this right.

I've actually even seen a particular study that divided thousands of participants into a diet-only group and an exercise/diet group. While both groups in this study made good progress, the diet-only group lost significantly LESS abdominal fat than the diet & exercise combined group.

Now the important thing to realize is that just any old exercise program will not necessarily do the trick.

The majority of people that attempt getting into a good exercise routine are NOT working out effectively enough to really stimulate the loss of stubborn abdominal fat. I see this everyday at the gym.

Most people will do your typical boring ineffective cardio routines, throw in a little outdated body-part style weight training, and pump away with some crunches and side bends, and think that they are doing something useful for reducing their abdominal fat. Then they become frustrated after weeks or months of no results and wonder where they went wrong.

Well, the good news is that I've spent over a decade researching this topic, analyzing the science, and applying it "in the trenches" with myself as well as thousands of my clients from all over the world to see what works to really stimulate abdominal fat loss.

The entire solution... all of the nutritional strategies, as well as training sequences, exercise combinations, and more have all been compiled in my Truth About Six Pack Abs Program.

Keep in mind that the point of this whole program is NOT abdominal exercises (that is only a very small portion of it). The main point of this program is showing you the absolute most effective strategies for losing your stubborn abdominal fat, so you can get rid of that dangerous health risk, as well as get a flatter more defined midsection.

If you follow the guidelines, you WILL lose your belly fat that has been plaguing you for years.

This is not guesswork... it is a proven system that works time and time again for all of my clients on every corner of the globe that actually apply the information I teach. If you apply it, the results will come. It's really that simple.

The only reason most people fail in their fitness goals is that they have good intentions at first to adopt a new lifestyle, yet after a few weeks or months, they abandon their good intentions and slip right back into their old bad habits that gave them the excess body fat in the first place.
I want to help you succeed in finally getting rid of that extra abdominal fat that is not only UGLY, but also DANGEROUS.

Don't waste another day allowing that nasty abdominal fat to kill your confidence as well as contribute to your risk for MAJOR diseases.

First fat burning tip and why you should never starve yourself

Here's my first tip for getting really fit and burning that fat!

The good news is, it's a really quick way to burn fat!

Have you heard of, or tried, Interval Training?

I came across this some years ago on a fitness DVD I had bought and it really made sense.

I was previously conditioned to believe that the more exercise I did, the more fat I would burn. I thought that if I went for a long distance run, or did an hour's cycle ride, all at a nice steady pace, I would burn fat.

It didn't seem to work though, although it did get me more toned!

Can you relate to that?

Interval training is based around the theory that the body responds best to short bursts of very intense activity.

Here's an easy way to do interval training:

(I'm assuming you are healthy enough to do some intense exercise. If in doubt always consult your Doctor first).

So, here we go.

1. Do a 10 minute warm up, wearing trainers, on an exercise mat if you are indoors.

2. Then, sprint on the spot as hard as you possibly can for about 20 seconds - imagine you are being chased by a wild animal!

3. Now just keep gently moving for 20 seconds.

Repeat the above sequence till you have done 3 repetitions (ie 3 sprints in total with the gentle movement in between).

Then, keep gently moving and stretching for 10 minutes to cool your body down and to stop any aches and pains the next day!

You may prefer to do this workout outdoors, and actually sprint from one point to another.

Make sure you drink plenty of water or a (zero sugar) sports drink after.

That's it!

The interesting thing about interval training is, it gets your body burning fat long after the workout stops!

Do that routine 3 times a week and the fat will melt away. For best results, make sure you are eating healthily too, more on that in a future post.

Why you should never starve yourself to lose weight

When you starve yourself by eating too few calories, not only will you feel tired and low, but your body will then store more than ever when you then resume a normal diet. That's why many people are on a continual diet - they put on more weight than ever when the diet stops, so they have to start another... and another.

So, starving yourself is bad news for your metabolism, which slows down when it doesn't get regular food.

Snack on healthy low fat foods between meals and keep your body burning fat and feeling good.
